Hi I'm Julia.png

I’m a director, editor, filmmaker, and creative storyteller.

My work has taken me from Dutch Harbor, Alaska to the ICU at the Cleveland Clinic to the U.S. Supreme Court. I’ve filmed live births, jugglers, scientists, disability rights activists, jazz clarinetists, bakers, and dancers. I’ve filmed as low as underwater at the bottom of a swimming pool, and as high as in a helicopter sailing over the city with its doors off.

Films I’ve worked on explore wide-ranging themes from domestic violence, disability, and infertility, to music, history, and gender identity.

Whether I’m directing or editing, whether fiction, documentary, small business, corporate, or digital, I seek to explore the multi-faceted and intimate experience of what it’s like to be human.

Let’s make something together!
